having tuition at orchard is dangerous. reeaallly dangerous.
given an overly indulgent and (partially shophaolic) mindset that i have, sometimes- okey usually- id end up spending money!):

there was a moving-out sale at the shop along that lane outside meridien shopping center and it was full of people! naturally i walked in to view the goodies. the earrings there are so nice but used to be exorbitantly priced at >$10 so i'd always turn away disappointingly.
but now, theyre actually going for $1/$2 per pair (yes!)

then i quickly msg calcy and simin (the girls whom i always end up spending lots of time in accessories shops with) to tell them the gdnews. heh i think theyd be popping down tmr.

alas, i walked out of the shop with 6pairs of earrings, one necklace and hairclips etc etc
the auntie there was telling me "see you bought so many things for only $12! good bargain!" haha
aiyo. feeling so guilty now because i already have loads of earrings at home. but i can share them with my sis (self consolation).
okey note to self: must wear those earrings so they wouldnt go to a waste.

ohyah i also bought something for linlin but shant reveal anything here lest she reads this!
