hello people! michelle ho is back from bintan! after a very rough and nauseating ferry ride yesterday. we were seated on the front deck in this room together with the captain and his assisstant which was rather cool but never did we realise that it was to be a "rollercoaster ride". we experienced several freefalls as the boat dropped off from the crest of the wave each time a wave came rolling along. the storm was so bad water kept splashing up onto the windows and many people vomited, including xiaoxuan's mom:( and her ahgong knocked his hand against the bar of the boat which was really bad cos it was bleeding and there was a bruise and everything:((
hubby! hope your family's okay now! everyone seriously had a crossed look after they walked out of the ferry, including me x/

as im typing this, its raining cats and dogs (primary school saying HAHA) outside now as well. stupid northeast monsoon.. dampens everything! except a nice sleep indoors HAHA(:

anyhows, one of the most memorable experiences we had was the banana boat ride!
i didnt know much about it before reaching bintan agro resort beach but upon seeing the boat- indeed it was a yellow banana!



this, of course, is not us. but some photo i stole off the net(:

the 5 of us hopped onto the boat and it was just twists and turns, bumps and splashes from then onwards. i tried sitting at the last position even though one of the guides said it was to be more bumpy. true enough, i was swung off the boat after a few twists and when i raised my head out of the water, my friends werent around me as i expected but seated still on the boat far in front laughing away.=X

anyways, off i am to visit my maternal relatives in west malaysia- kuching- tomorrow. so sick of flights and ferry rides and coach rides already:(
