alright i swear i wont stupidly work for the SAME amount of pay (instead of doubled as the law states) on a public holiday anymore in my life!:((

today's work was darn tough i wanted to break down and cry when the machine blasted open twice due to the rock-hard icecreams:(( but ohwells, the stall only depended on myself and another newcomer so michelle had to keep telling herself to pull through. even when i had to repeatedly throw the black sesame &greentea icecreams away after they came dripping out of the machine due to the not-cold-enough freezer. and this customer, who looked around 30 but i soon realised he was mentally a 3 year old.

honestly, he was like "oh my god, your freezer is spoilt! that is SO SAD."
i was like hello? are you geniunely being concerned or trying to rub it in damn it.

initially i was actually glad that i agreed to stand in for my boss today after witnessing the size of the crowds heading out today in the mrt train, gleeing to myself that i wouldnt have to be part of the sweaty crowds jostling to shop or catch a movie. ohwells, guess i was the one serving them. -shrugs

anyways, i was cheered up after reading evilLANG's hand-made storybook for me!
