the first week of lessons in term 3 has almost come to an end. i can't believe RI and TJ are getting holidays next monday because of the world cup finals on sunday night cum monday morning!

today was a super long and sad day. we got back our physics common test and econs case study. i got an S for econs, which is only sub-pass. if this happened back in chung cheng, i wouldn't feel the pinch (maybe a teeny weeny bit). but right in the lecture theatre as the teacher droned on for each question, i looked at the people around me and they were all achieving As or Bs. i felt a strong physics monster gnawing bit by bit of my heart.

econs was a small consoler, i managed to pass but i hated myself for not prioritising my time to complete the 10 mark question. anyhows, its a learning experience and i will learn from the mistakes to do better for the next test.

in the classroom, i turned my head to see zhou shu tearing. it pierced my heart when she said she mugged through the holidays while her other PRC friends got to go home and play but her efforts were not paid off. as you know, i'm not too good at consoling people so i felt quite helpless and bad. i finally sent her an SMS at night:

ANYWAYS!

after school, siyu and i headed to the council room to collect our navy blue blazers and white skirts for the prize-giving ceremony this saturday. honestly, i'd rather don on our normal uniform with the green skirt and tie.

had to rush for a project work interview right after that. my pw group members and i cabbed down to town council and interviewed our first Worker's Party interviewee for this project, Mr Low Thia Khiang.


okey this is his photo taken dontknow how many hundreds of years ago haha. he hasnt changed much except for the wrinkles and belly i guess.

prior to the meeting, none of us knew much about him. but after chatting with him, we realised his thinking was really different from the other PAP women politicians we've interviewed so far. he even knows what SIMS city is all about 'cos he has watched his son play before HAHHA.

okey so as we were chatting, he asked about RJ and if all of us were in the thru-train programme.

Mr Low: So all of you are thru-train to Raffles JC?

Us: Ummm most of us.

me: I took O-levels.

Mr Low: "Oh how come?"

Me: I was from Chung Cheng High School

Mr Low: Oh, is it Main?

Me: Yup yup the one at Katong there.

Mr Low: Yah i know, I was from there too.

Me: (gasps) Oh really?!!

Mr Low: Very nice school ah. I loved the years spent in that school. You know i went back there to take my wedding photos. With the lake and everything.

Me: Yup yup.. Oh my gosh really? That's nice.

Mr Low: You're not in IP to RJC.. So you're an Outsider?

Me: Ummm errrrrrr awww hahaha. (exchanged glances at my PW friends)

Mr Low: Got kena bullied anot?

Me: Hahhaha

Resh: No lah!

Mr Low: Can you cope anot. It's a very different culture in RJ.

Me: Errr haha mmm.

Mr Low: Were you a naughty girl in Chung Cheng?

Me: HAHHA NO!

(laughter)

Mr Low: Are you sure anot. Chung cheng kids all quite naughty one.

Me: Hahahha.

okay so we proceeded on to talk about the old school buildings and teachers and stuff. aiyoi im getting tired, can't believe i typed that whole conversation out.
