the movie would be out at the end of december. and stars zhang ziyi as the main lead [which i think is a wrong choice!!] they should have auditioned for the role in japan... preferably a japanese who can speak english. cuz it just feels weird and inappropriate having ziyi zhang act as a jap when she doesnt look like one. and now both china and japan are bashing the movie even before it has been released.

didn't know they were making a movie out of it. i own that book, it was quite shocking to see it posted randomly.
a movie of that book couldn't be too great, because it's main strength is it's beautiful language...
