BACK IN SHANGHAI... I HAD A HUGE CRUSH...

my family and i were eating KFC...



[which wasn't as good as singapore's cuz their chicken meat is tough and dry]

opposite our table was someone who caught my attention. the moment i saw him, my gaze lingered on him longer. and immediately i felt like giving him a big cuddle! he was so cuteee!

isnt he just the cutest thing? the kids in china are super adorable with their rosy cheeks and active inquisitivity. and i even saw one boy who was about 10 years old reading some kinda chim mystery storybook in the bookstore. their chinese level is expectedly high!

OOOP?

oh anyway. we also visited the graveyard of Sun Zhong Shan's wife. i wasn't exactly paying attention to the tombstones [Ji4 Nian4 Bei1] etc. what caught my attention were the signs on the grass patches.

the place was very neatly taken care of by the cleaners. and the grass was like carpet grass which they forbade people to step on.

one of the signs got me tickled and amused:


translation: the little grass is resting. please do not disturb.

hahahah. so cute la!
when i was taking photo of this sign, one of the uncles on the same tour as us walked past.
he said "it is resting la, dont disturb it." in mandarin.

and their other signs have ya1 yun4 somemore. like short poems..


translation: when you reach out your hand to pluck the flowers, beauty is no longer present.


little grass is in the midst of growing, please do give tender loving care.
