I only started watching American Idol last week when there were 3 finalists left- Vonzell, Carrie and Bo. Aniwaes, Vonzell's out. which leaves Carrie and Bo. And judging from their performances [that's showing on SCV right now], I hope Carrie will win. I can't stand Bo's hair, honestly- I think guys with long hair either look sissy or messy hahahaha. and i heard he takes drugs. and Carrie's really pretty! She has perfect teeth kay.
Oh guess what? My penpal in England, who has the same birthday as me [same date and year and everything] is taking her GCSE Olevels this week! And apparently, their grades are different from here in Singapore. Their papers are not graded by A1, A2, B3, B4 etc. They are categorised into A*, A, B, C, D, F, U.
Yup! And A* is like either above 80% or 87% [depending on which subject]! Besides that, they have to score above C for at least 5 subjects in order to get promoted to the next level in school, or else they'd have to find a job! Yeah and they won't be posted to different junior colleges or anything, they'll still be remaining in the same high school for two years to take their Alevels. So that's the difference between Singapore's education system and England's, I guess. They put more emphasis on languages as the subjects she'd be taking includes- French, German, English language, Science, Business Studies, Maths and ICT (no idea what's that.)
Ah. I've had some feedback that the name- Purple Ranger - doesn't sound nice. And I kinda agree. So i've decided to change it to...
