Books, books and More books
[soundbite; Christina Milian- Believer]
YIPEE!~
I've finally found the book I've always been looking for, The Gatecrasher.

it's by author Madeleine Wickham, and did you know she's actually also Sophie Kinsella, author of the Shopaholic series? Yes! They're the same person but she uses two different names for her books. Cool huh?
I'm halfway through the book now. And guess what? Kinokuniya is having a 20% sale storewide this weekend! (Gosh, i sound like an auntie- but only to the books I absolutely like okayy =D Anyway I think most working ladies, no matter how poise and pretty they look, are Aunties at heart. Because whenever i strut past a shoe store with huge signs saying "30% Off" or "Big Sale", I'd glance in only to see the shop full of women from all walks of life. Young ones at around the age of 20 odd with long flowing dyed hair or those who're a bit older, with curled hair and dressed in formal working attire. Heheh.)
Erm, Okay as I was saying about the sale in Kino. So I went with my Dad, Bro and Sis today! I bought two more novels---

The latest one [New Arrival]- The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella! which is actually also Madeleine Wickham lah but different style of writing so I guess she wants to differentiate her novels.
And...

The Make-Up Girl by Andrea Semple. Looking forward to reading it during the holidays!
My bro also bought a scientific book

Apparently, he triggered off his rifle accidentally during one of his NS Officer trainings when he was not supposed to, thus he has to face confinement for the following two weeks! Which means he wouldn't be coming out of camp for the next two weekends and has to stay in his dorm. =( The book would keep him occupied I guess. it contains all the short histories of Chemistry and stuff, definitely his forte =D
I flipped through a few pages and found it kinda interesting. But only a particular page on The Periodic Table, the rest was too beyond my Science interest =P
For example, did you know that The Periodic Table of Chemical Elements is the most elegant, organizational chart ever devised? Today we have 120 or so known elements- 92 naturally occuring ones plus a couple of dozen which have been created in labs.
No wonder i found the Americanium and Europium element names sounding so weird, they must have been created by the bloody scientists from those countries. Why no Singaporium? hehehhe.
Signing off,

The Purple Ranger.
