AHH! I GOT CONNED OF $1 TODAY.

xiaoxuan and i were walking along orchard road,
and this woman approached us saying they're having a christmas sale, doing her bit for charity
she handed us two keychains.
they were puny and flimsy and the design was peeling off.
she said it was normally worth $6.90, but they're now having a sale and it's only going for $2!
xiaoxuan was hesitating, because she just donated $5 to this guy selling donation tickets.
but seeing that the woman was kinda friendly, i said okay lah, $1 each.
so we gave the money to the woman.
and when xiaoxuan asked her what charity this is for
she kinda stammered, and said "Mosuena (or something sounding like this)"
we were like, "Huh?"

but never mind, we left and continued walking anyway.
after about 10 minutes, i suddenly realised
"EH? why doesnt that woman have any license for the charity or anything?"
and xiaoxuan said "Yah lor! See lah i didnt wanna buy at first but you said okay."

so i felt damn disgruntled for a moment.
and vowed never to believe anyone doing "something for charity" without any proof or license (e.g. Donation ticket, Tin can, or those with the stickers.)

Orchard Road is a "Good Deed" place, stroll along there whenever you feel like being charitable (:

PS. I like collecting those cute donation stickers though hahahahha xD

PPS. Crazy guys who approach out of nowhere claiming not to be "bad guys" are scary.
