heh. took my very first olvels today, the big word, or rather letter, O. it went rather smoothly i guess, though i was unsure of a few answers :( i didnt expect the listenin compre to be aired on radio, but it's rather cool cos it ensures that the students all over s'pore's listenin to the exact same thing instead of tapes given out to different schools. the halfnhour b4 the exam, everyone had to listen to symphony92.4fm awaiting the chinese listenin compre, it was nice! i lovvveee the nutcracker! think i heard it in some disneyshow b4..cant recall which.
after the exam, we hung around waiting for peeps. got a phone call from daliah! the phone operator at mhotel. it was a pleasant surprise (: she needed some help for typing a letter for a friend who wishes to appeal to her boss. heh, so i told her bouts the stuff to write &the format of the letter n all. she was asking me to call her often haha &i told her we were going back soon &she screamed! haha. she was like "reallyyy??" heehee and she asked when but i told her we have not confirmed yet but it'll be somewhere next wk! lookingforward :D
at around 11,headed over to parkway with several peeps for mcdonald breakie. ate a whole lotta total of 2.5hash browns. it was bloody hard to chew due to the missing 2 teeth, argh! but i managed to munch through slowly. yummmmmm :D they went home while i met up with melissa &peeps, they were coincidentally also at parkway! we took a bus to orchard. i loveee long bus trips where i can just sleep my head off without any worries knowing the stop is still a long way ahead. we arrived and i got down reluctantly. loitered around cine &heeren, bought a pair of matching earrings with peu! she bought blueflowers, i bought pinkstars, so we gave one of each to eachother (: hope she doesnt get allergic to the white gold, her ears are rather sensitive.
after hanging around, geok peu hoyin lixian wingki &i headed back to sch for the sch anniversary speech day. again, a long bus trip yeayy! we reached sch at 3+ and gathered about. there were many ppl including chungchengbranch &vips. halfway through the speeches, i sneaked out to get a breather, &also for the toilet :D met wenqian &xiaoxuan at the concourse so sat down to chat with them :D actually also to miss more parts of the speech :P xiaoxuan told me to rush out n grab food later after the speech, ha ha. seeing that it was only 15min to the end of the speech, i quietly sneaked back in :D had a fun time with shimin, she was exasperated when i told her i was enjoying fruitpunch while she was enduring the speech inside wahaha.
finally the speech ended...went to eat at the small lil reception buffet with shimin &dan. yeah then headed home. frankly i think during the speeches, it was as if the chungchengbranch principal &yue the mainprincipal were both comparing each of the school's achievements with each other. the powerpoints for both schs were like a load of praises for each of their own schools...with the academic results, cca medals &stuff. i think deep down in both of their hearts they're like cursing &swearing at each other :D
