whoo, went to the shell-moe school band fiesta @the botanic gardens today!
it was fun, there were many people, rather surprisingly, i thought the gardens was quite unpopular, but it turned out to be pretty cool. the place is is like huge patches of open space &grass. so me, dad mum &bro headed to symphony stage palm valley, to watch the band fiesta aka competition for the grooviest band. today's bands were swiss cottage, crescent girls, stpatricks, nanyanggirls &rivervallyhigh. my sis was performing in the nygh concertband! so we went to support her. many supporters &cheering there, during my sis's sch performance, bro &i headed to the side of the stage to take some photos of her &get a closer look. then my bro challenged me to shout her name damn loud, haha so i shouted BABE! and she saw me and her eyes open as big as a goldfish's :P so she was rather embarrassed while me &bro laughed like mad. then after that, bro shouted damn loudly PATRICIA! OEI! she turned to look &i snapped a photo of her :D well, nanyanggirls performed disco lives, abba gold &cant take my eyes off you. the other bands were good too, sadly we missed the first two swiss cottage &crescent girls cos we came rather late.

eventually, nanyanggirls won the most groovy band! happy for my sis (: though she played this minor roll in shaking the thing or sth, haha, cos she's still sec1 &she complains that percussion section has nth much to do. overall, i guess they were the most groovy, cos they had like girls dancing in front of the stage and during the songs the band people will take turns to stand up and move about abit, at the end of their performance they also cracked up some partypoppers :D

their sch had a mini celebration or sth while me dad mum &bro walked around in the gardens. at the back of the toilet, we sortof sneaked into the orchid gardens :D the gate was wide open! walked around as the sky darkened, the orchids were beautiful. we visited the celebrity garden too with orchids named after princessdiana, rickymartin, baeyongjun &others i dontknw of.

'round 730pm we headed to the car to fetch my sis frm sch. waited there as i watched some girls swinging on the tyre swings, probably the boarding sch students. their boarding sch's rather cool :D after my sis has finally hopped in, we headed to hollandv swensens to have a late dinner! i like hollandvillage, a really bustling area with lotsa nice shops &restaurants :D unfortunately it was hit by the blackout on that night, according to what i saw on news &a woman even tripped right in front of the bank. luckily the expensive fishes in this fish farm didnt die due to lack of oxygen.
