nothing lasts for eternity
this's said with certainty
no matter friends or foe
they will all come and go

why bother so much
to say keep in touch
when it's almost impossible
it's just ain't believable

one minute you may be holding hands
being the best of friends
the next second the bridges are burned
the tables are turned

there are so many changes
some hard to cope with
memories written in pages
it depends on what we handle with


memo books are filled
all sorts of friends forever
but once we adapt and get chilled
the past is just a whatever

though we may still remember
images left in the mind
who would bother to get humble
and try to give old friends a find

we would all move on
memories may fade
life will still go on
new friendships will be made
