world book fair

ohmygosh im such a freak ! ha ha :D

whoo ! today went to the world book fair with my dad ! it was packed like sardines ( old idiom ha ha :p ) ! bought 3 books, chicken soup for the couples' soul, do fish drink water? and four play. yyeay! have already started on four play (:
oh and then my dad subscribed to national geographic ! the salesman there was like so desperate and kept saying "i give u free magazines lah u order from me," (-_-:)
then there was this other girl from another shop giving out phamplets to my dad and the salesman said "eh this is my territory leh," then both of them were like 'snatching for customers' my dad could only bitter laugh :D but fortunately i got several magazines for free thanks to that senior salesman ! readers' digest janurary issue, seventeen, people and a mystery novel he shoved into my hands :/
i've realised today it's a wonder how money-grubbing and kiasu some aunties can be. i overheard this woman telling her child 'and that mother was so rude ! treating the books like some freebies," :/
there was this bloody old caucasian man who was like yelling "scuse me! scuse me!" and he dropped a few books on this little girl and didnt even say sorry ! he even pushed her away ! like wtf ?? felt like giving him a huge punch on that face of his.
but there was this cute little boy who was saying "jie jie, here veri squeezy leh.." haha so cute ! oh yes i spotted a few chung cheng peeps there too (:
yeah ! cant wait to get started on the books ! hope i can read finish them !
